DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
In this tour you will visit a total of four places: Nuestra Senora de los Remedios Church, San Gabriel Franciscan Monastery, Santa Maria Tonantzintla Church and San Francisco Acatepec Church. There is no entry fee, but donations are gladly accepted.
The first place we will visit is the Nuestra Senora de los Remedios Church, located on top of a hill and reached by climbing the hill. Once you reach the top, there is an overlook where you can see the city of Cholula spread out before you and if the weather cooperates, you can take some nice photographs of the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes.
Our second stop is the San Gabriel Franciscan Monastery, one of the largest Franciscan monasteries in Mexico located in the center of Cholula.
Santa Maria Tonantzintla Church is the next stop on our visit. It is three kilometers from Cholula city and we will go there by car. This is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Mexico.
The next and final stop is San Francisco Acatepec Church, just 5 minutes from the Tonantzintla Church, where you will climb a few steps and admire its beauty.
