ABOUT LUPITA TRAVELS
Welcome to Lupita Travels. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. My name is Guadalupe García Tochihuitl, or Lupita for short. There is at least one Lupita in every household in the Cholula / Puebla area!
I was born in Santa Maria Malacatepac in Ocoyucan, Puebla. My ancestors spoke Nahuatl and my mother can still speak that language. My father was a ticket agent at the Cholula Pyramids and I saw the pyramids for the first time when I was 10 years old. My father explained the history and exploration of the pyramids. He was personally involved in the archeological exploration of the pyramids.
I attended the Tlaxcalancingo Junior High School and the Puebla High School. I received a teaching degree from Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla. I taught kindergarten and elementary school students in Zacapoaxtla and Junior High School students in Puebla. I took the necessary courses and training to become a certified General Tour Guide in 2011. I have been conducting tours in the Cholula / Puebla area since 2009. I continue to take the required courses in archeology and history to keep my tour guide certification current.
Travel can be an enjoyable, educational, enlightening experience and truly broaden your perspectives and expand your outlook. It can make you more aware of other cultures that you had not come in contact with before and can shatter cultural stereotypes you might have held. Memories you take home from travel can last a lifetime. You are likely to meet new friends and experience new culinary delights.
